Kariss Kelly-Carter

Youth & Families Key Worker

Hi there my Name is Kariss, welcome to our service.

I started of as a young person volunteering with A Father’s Child Service CIC in 2021 on the Global Fund for children: Masculinities small grants project. We started our Boys Don’t Cry online podcast and youth group, where we discussed issues around Stop & Search and learnt new skills around editing, music and more.

Bio

Now 18 years old I have been supported to gain youth work skills with The National Youth Agency (NYA) Supported vulnerable young children as part of the team on our HAF summer holidays programmes learning so much. I also support young people delivering our Outcomes Star mentoring programme.

Outside of the work I do with AFCS I have qualifications in painting and decorating and am currently training as an electrician.

I hope we can support you with whatever you are looking for.
