Hi there, I am Isaac Atkinson a Volunteer Trainee Counsellor.

I offer a warm, non-judgemental safe space for those who are ready to talk, and I am able to listen attentively to allow you the space and freedom to speak openly.

There may be something that is troubling you from the past and is preventing you from progressing forward. If so, I am here to work alongside you to help you explore your issues, with an impartial lens to help you work on improving your quality of life, moods, in a compassionate space.

I will help you on your journey to process and reflect on your thoughts and emotions.

From previous life and work experiences which inform my Integrative practice, is knowledge and understanding of many complex issues that relate to Child Criminal Exploitation, Serious Youth Violence, Gang Culture, Knife Crime, Youth Offending and Substance Misuse. Along with understanding Family Support Work and Families/Individuals with complex support needs.

I have encountered various walks of life and I am able to empathise with many other related concerns from personal growth, parenting, relationships, career development and much more

MSc in Psychology

Mental Health First Aid for Youth

Level 4 Diploma for Therapeutic Counselling – CPCAB accredited

Level 4 Working with Parents (Intense support for families with complex needs)

Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare

Level 3 Diploma for Counselling Skills and Theory

Level 1 Mentoring

Childhood Adversity and Trauma Informed Practice Certificate
